Excellent location. Very comfortable bed and nice linen and toiletries
I booked a room for two adults and at check in was asked by the receptionist if we would like a twin room. We said we would if that were possible. Another member of staff then arrived and mad us feel very uncomfortable telling us we had not booked a twin in a tone that made us feel as if we had done something wrong. The suggestion of a twin came from the receptionist not from us. The 'turn down' didn't seem to happen! The breakfast table was too small. We had no spoons or side plates and the orange juice was undrinkable.

The location is great. 1 min from Harrods and other great shopping. 20 minutes walk to Buckingham Palace. Cafes and restaurants (including my new favorite Italian restaurant in London) are also just steps away. The breakfast was in the neighboring hotel two doors away. Super delicious and with the best service.
In winter (yes that's also in London) the rooms are a bit cold.

I recently stayed at The Capital Townhouse for a weekend getaway. The hotel's location was fabulous, situated between Harrods and Harvey Nichols, and within walking distance of popular attractions like the V&A and Natural History museum. The rooms were lovely and cosy, with no noise disturbances. The small boutique hotel atmosphere was charming, and the continental breakfast was great, with fresh fruit and delicious pastries.
Do recommend this hotel.

The location is excellent We liked the breakfast although simple but nice with nice staff The manager got us a bigger room for a reasonable difference in price
The first room we were in at weekend the neighborhood had construction work and noisy people that affect our sleep . The double room was small The information when we first arrived clearly mentioned that we had a child with us and the room was small . I wished that they could have clarified with us prior to arrival .

The location couldn't have been better! Right in the heart of the city near all the shops and restaurants. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided was delicious and offered a good variety of food. It was a great value for the price!
The staff was helpful but could have been more attentive to our needs. The Wi-Fi was spotty and didn't work well in our room.

I absolutely adored the charming decoration of the hotel, with its elegant Art Deco style and muted colors. It created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and comfortable, providing plenty of space for relaxation and socializing. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The staff ensured that there were no obstacles for me to navigate, making it easy for me to move around and enjoy my stay.
The only thing I would ask for to make it an even better vacation for seniors is a bit more patience and understanding from the children working there. While they were generally friendly, there were a few instances where I felt they could have been more attentive and considerate towards the needs of older guests.

Spent a fantastic new year’s time in a hidden gem hotel. Loved the spacious and comfortable rooms that came with an added seating area. The friendly staff made our stay memorable. The hotel's location was excellent, and we had easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. We especially enjoyed the complimentary access to a health club at a neighboring hotel.
There was some confusion over extra costs for the room for our young child. Cooked breakfast was not included in the hotel, and we had to pay an extra 10 GBP per head for it at another location.

Staying at this boutique hotel was a lovely experience from start to finish. The prime location puts you only a block away from the Knightsbridge station, making it easy to get to tourist spots and other areas in the center of the city. The rooms are well-appointed, with comfortable beds and beautiful decor. The bathroom facilities were clean and luxurious. The friendly and accommodating staff always took care of our needs. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from.
The only minor issue we encountered during our stay was with the toilet seat, which could have been more comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, situated in a prime neighborhood, close to everything. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who were always ready to help. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel also offers a variety of services, including room service, housekeeping, and even a doctor on call. We were also able to enjoy the facilities of the sister hotel next door. this place exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend it to our friends.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

I loved how clean and well-maintained the hotel facilities were. The location was amazing, just a block away from Knightsbridge station and in an area that's known for its high prices. Being so close to Harrods and Hyde Park was a huge plus. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.
